# QRever vs Flowcode

_Flowcode is built for marketing teams who pay monthly. QRever is built for printed codes that should outlive any billing cycle._

Flowcode is a design-forward QR platform with beautiful branded codes, Flowpage landing pages, and analytics aimed squarely at marketing teams. If deep campaign analytics and pixel-perfect branding are your priority and you have a marketing budget to match, it’s a strong product.

But Flowcode is a subscription, and its richer features sit on its paid tiers. That means the codes you print are tied to an ongoing bill. QRever takes the opposite stance: editable, trackable codes and hosted QR Pages for a single payment, with a written guarantee that a paid code is never deactivated.

## Where Flowcode is genuinely good

- Best-in-class design and brand customisation for codes.
- Flowpage landing pages and a polished analytics dashboard.
- Marketing-team features — campaigns, integrations, and reporting at scale.

| | QRever | Flowcode |

## Pricing comparison

| | QRever | Flowcode |
| --- | --- | --- |
| How often you pay | Once | Every month or year |
| Entry dynamic QR code | ₹999 / $19, one time | Paid plan, billed recurring |
| Three codes, over three years | ₹2,499 / $49, one time | ≈$900 — from $25/mo × 36 |
| Ten dynamic codes | ₹7,499 / $149, one time | Higher plan, billed recurring |
| What you owe in year three | Nothing more | Still paying every cycle |
| If you cancel | Codes keep working | Dynamic codes stop redirecting |

_QRever prices are one-time and shown in full. Flowcode’s pricing is a recurring subscription that changes over time — check their site for current rates. The three-year figure is their cheapest plan that supports three editable codes, at rates verified August 2026, and assumes no price rise. Comparison last reviewed August 2026._

## What happens when you stop paying

Flowcode’s value is built around an active subscription — the analytics, the Flowpages, and the editable destinations all assume you keep paying. Stop, and the dynamic codes you printed for a campaign stop resolving. That’s fine for a poster that comes down after a launch, but it’s a real problem for anything meant to last: packaging, business cards, signage.

QRever is designed for exactly those long-lived, printed codes. You pay once; there is no plan to lapse and no deactivated state in our system. And if QRever itself ever shut down, every active paid code would keep working for at least 5 years after closure — with a one-click export for every code and a Static Fallback Generator for every dynamic one, so your destination can outlive us entirely.

## The pay-once market

Subscriptions are not the only thing QRever competes with. A small pay-once market exists, and it is the fairer comparison — those products make the same promise QRever does, so the question stops being “rent or buy” and becomes “which one to buy”.

QRever is not the cheapest way in. One permanent dynamic code costs $19 here, against $15 at OwnQR — and $150 at Scanova, the most expensive.

Where QRever is the cheapest is the page behind the code. A QRever QR Page — a menu, business card, links, event or reviews page, hosted and editable — costs $39 once. Of the other products here, only Lifetime QR Codes and Permanent QR Codes host a page behind a code, from $49.

| Product | One-time price | Hosted page | What it buys |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| OwnQR | $15 | No | One editable redirect code; five-code pack available |
| QRever (this product) | $19 | Yes | One permanent dynamic code, unlimited scans; a hosted QR Page is $39 |
| Lifetime QR Codes | $49 | Yes | One permanent code, page types included; volume discounts from 3 codes |
| Permanent QR Codes | $49 | Yes | One permanent code, page types included |
| QRCD | $69 | No | Unlimited dynamic redirect codes |
| Scanova | $150 | No | One lifetime dynamic code; landing-page types excluded |

On price alone, a plain redirect code is cheaper elsewhere. OwnQR charges $15 for one code and $39 for five, less than QRever at any quantity, and QRCD’s $69 buys unlimited codes, which undercuts QRever from five codes up. Both sell redirects only. If the code just needs to point at a website you already run, either costs less; QRever earns its price when the code needs a page of its own, which neither of them hosts.

_One-time prices as each vendor lists them, in US dollars, for a single permanent dynamic code unless the scope column says otherwise. QRever also prices in rupees (₹999) for buyers in India. Volume tiers, where a vendor publishes them, are not reflected in the entry price shown. Competitor prices verified 2026-09-14._

## Verdict

Choose Flowcode if you’re a marketing team that lives in campaign analytics and brand design, and the monthly cost is justified. Choose QRever if you want a code you print once and never have to keep paying for — with the same editability, and a guarantee it won’t be switched off.
