Terms of Service
Short, because the deal is simple.
You pay once, your code works forever, and only you can delete it. These terms exist to write that down properly — plus the handful of rules that keep scanners safe.

What QRever is
QRever, operated by Sanora Technologies (“we”, “us”), provides free static QR codes, paid dynamic QR codes with editable destinations, and paid hosted pages behind QR codes. By creating an account or buying a product, you agree to these terms.
- 02
Payments are one-time
Every paid product is a single one-time payment. There are no subscriptions, renewals, or recurring charges anywhere in this product. Orders in India are processed through Razorpay (INR), with QRever as the merchant. Orders outside India are sold through Dodo Payments (USD), which acts as our Merchant of Record — the seller of record for that transaction, responsible for billing and applicable taxes. Either way, we never see your card or banking details.
Prices may change for future purchases. A price change never affects anything you already bought.
- 03
What you own after paying
A paid code is yours for the life of the service. We never deactivate paid codes — not for billing reasons (there are none), not for inactivity, not ever. The only person who can delete your code is you. This is the core of the product and is stated in full in The Promise.
Every paid code includes a one-click data export, every dynamic code a static fallback generator, and every paid code keeps working for at least 5 years even if QRever closes — so your printed codes are never hostage to our existence.
- 04
What ‘forever’ means
When we say a paid code works “forever,” we mean for as long as QRever runs as a service, and for at least 5 years after it stops. We intend to run QRever indefinitely — that intention is the business model — but no company can guarantee it will exist in perpetuity, so we commit to the following if QRever ever shuts down.
Notice. We will give every account holder at least 90 days’ advance notice by email. Throughout that notice period the dashboard, the Export Escape Hatch and the Static Fallback Generator stay available, and every code keeps working normally.
5 years of working codes after closure. Every paid code that is active when the service closes keeps working for at least 5 years afterwards. A dynamic code keeps redirecting to the last destination set before closure. A QR Page stays online as a read-only copy of its final content, uploaded images included. During that period codes and pages can no longer be edited, scans are no longer recorded, and features that need a live service — such as event RSVPs — are switched off. We will keep the domain your printed codes point to registered, and serving them, for the whole period.
Takedown during that period. You can still have any of your codes or pages taken down: email support@qrever.com from the address on your account, and we will remove it within 30 days — after which it stops working, exactly as if you had deleted it. The acceptable-use exception below still applies: a code found to be phishing or distributing malware may be pointed to a warning page.
Escape hatches. For a dynamic code, the Static Fallback Generator turns it into a new static QR that works without us at all, so your printed code can outlive even that period. A hosted page can’t be reduced to a static QR — but its full content is part of the export (uploaded images stay at their current links), so you can take it and rebuild the page elsewhere.
No refund is issued solely because the service closes; the notice period, the 5-year run-on and these tools are the continuity guarantee.
“Forever” is also not a subscription repackaged: we will never introduce a renewal, an expiry, or a deactivation state for a paid code while the service is running.
- 05
Refunds
If a paid code does not work as described and we cannot fix it, we will refund the purchase. Email us within 14 days of purchase. Because a dynamic code is live and usable the moment it is created, we don’t offer change-of-mind refunds after a code has received scans or its destination has been edited — but talk to us; we’re humans and we read every email. The full terms, timelines, and how refunds work for orders outside India are in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
- 06
Acceptable use
You may not use QRever codes or pages to point to or host:
- phishing, malware, or anything designed to deceive scanners,
- illegal content under Indian law or the law where you operate,
- spam operations or bulk-deceptive marketing.
If a code is being used to actively harm the people scanning it (phishing or malware), we may point it to a warning page while we contact you. This is the single, narrow exception to the never-deactivate promise — it exists to protect scanners from fraud, never as billing leverage. We will always email you first when possible, and we will never delete the code; deletion remains yours alone.
- 07
Your content
You own everything you put on your codes and pages — destinations, menus, contact details, page content. You grant us only the license needed to host and serve it. You are responsible for having the right to publish what you publish.
Where your pages collect personal data from other people — for example, names and phone numbers through event-page RSVPs — you are the data controller and QRever acts as your processor, handling that data only to provide the service to you and on your instructions. You are responsible for giving those people any notice, and obtaining any consent, the law requires; our Privacy Policy explains how we handle it.
- 08
Service quality, plainly stated
We run the redirect engine on edge servers and treat speed as part of the product. We aim for high availability but, like every service on the internet, we can’t promise zero downtime.
What we can promise: if QRever ever shuts down, account holders get at least 90 days’ advance notice, and every active paid code keeps working for at least 5 years after closure — dynamic codes redirecting to their last destination, QR Pages as read-only copies. The export stays available throughout the notice period, including, for dynamic codes, a static fallback QR that works without us. The full commitment is under “What ‘forever’ means” above.
- 09
Liability
QRever is a infrastructure platform — we provide the code, the redirect, and the hosted page. We have no control over, and take no responsibility for, the content you choose to point your codes at or publish on your pages. You are solely responsible for every destination URL, every word on your hosted page, and every action taken by people who scan your codes.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sanora Technologies and its operators, employees, and agents are not liable for: any harm caused to third parties by the destinations or content you publish; any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from your use of the service; or any claim by a third party relating to your QR codes or pages. Our total liability for any direct claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific code or product in question.
This limitation applies even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages, and to the fullest extent permitted by the laws of India.
- 10
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Sanora Technologies and its operators, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, penalties, fines, or legal costs (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) brought by any third party arising out of: your use of QRever; the content of any destination URL or hosted page associated with your codes; your violation of these terms; or your violation of any law or the rights of any person. This obligation survives termination of your account.
- 11
Closing your account
You can stop using QRever at any time. Export your data first if you want it — one click per code. To delete your account entirely, email us. We will not delete your paid codes unless you ask us to in writing, because deletion kills printed copies and that decision is yours alone.
- 12
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we’ll email account holders before the change takes effect. No change will ever introduce a subscription, an expiry, or a deactivation state for paid codes — those would break the product’s founding promise.
- 13
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of India. For anything related to these terms: support@qrever.com.
